Our Story
Bezal was founded in 2026 by Gataha Maina, an online music equipment shop owner who experienced firsthand the pain of looking through numerous pdf files containing courier rates of different cities and towns of multiple local couriers to get the most affordable option to fulfill orders. It was time-consuming considering you have to do calculations manually to give accurate quotes — a process that was also error-prone.
I built Bezal to solve this problem — a single, elegant multi-courier rates API that abstracts away the complexity of managing different rate structures. Today, we power a couple of businesses across Kenya, processing thousands of delivery rates requests monthly. Other countries to be added soon
